Recently, some companies have introduced WIA-PA technology for use in the petrochemical and chemical industries. It is essentially a wireless transmission and integration technology, primarily applied in these sectors as well as in oil fields, to enable wireless transmission and centralized monitoring of relevant flow meters. This facilitates the tracking of important flow parameters throughout the plant, including outbound flow rates, quantities sold, raw materials incoming to the plant, and product measurements.
