New user in the field of instruments seeking advice from experienced colleagues: There is a glass plate level gauge about 1 meter high on site; the indicated range of this gauge is 10 kPa, and it shows 48%. How can we determine whether the reading on the glass plate is accurate?

The glass plate level gauge operates on the principle of a communicating vessel; as long as there is no interference, the readings are accurate. I don’t understand what the original poster means.
As long as the glass plate level gauge is not clogged, there should be no problems. The root valve can be closed, after which the root valve and the drain valve can be opened separately to check whether any fluid flows out. If everything is smooth, the glass panel should be fine.
The range of the gauge is 10 KPa, and it shows 48%; 10 KPa × 48% = 4.8 KPa. But who knows the density of the medium being measured? How high is the liquid column in the glass plate?
