The downside is that the communication functionality of the newer models requires an upgrade in order to be used； 375: Highly functional and capable of adjusting various types of meters as well as handling black-and-white frequencies. Its drawbacks are a short battery life and slow response time; an upgrade is required when new versions of meters become available. 475: Launched in 2009, it features a color screen, strong functionality, and fast response time. Its disadvantages are its high price and the need to upgrade the system every three to five years

Actually, the 375 also needs a system upgrade, and after the upgrade it has no functional differences from the 475.
By the way, since we’re on this topic, I should mention that the upgraded version of 475 has already been released. That is AMS TREX. 5.7-inch touchscreen in total, and with an optional feature it can also support loop power supply!
