I’m seeking advice from experts: reliable manufacturers of dual-color water level gauges – could you recommend some?
Hubei Huaxing, Zibo Changheng. If used on a steam drum, it is recommended to use a plate level gauge
We use it on SZL boilers, specifically on the steam drum. I would like to ask: why is the plate type better? Can’t it be two colors?
I would also like to ask: for magnetic flap level gauges, do you know of any recommended companies?
We have been using two-color systems since 2003; the longest duration of use for such a system was half a year. Unfortunately, leaks would occur right after repairs were done. On one occasion, we had to repair a level gauge four times in just one week. Once, a burst pipe almost injured someone. It was switched to a panel type in April 2015, and it has not broken since then. It is planned to gradually replace the existing two-color version with a panel type. Life is important, safety too!
There are indeed potential risks; should we consider changing to another manufacturer?
What is the operating pressure at your end? We deal with industrial boilers that operate at pressures below 15 bar and temperatures up to 200°C.
42 kilograms, the temperature should be around 250 degrees
It’s probably mainly due to the high stress!
