The simulation function can mimic the menus of various instruments, and in the end this appears – what does that mean? What does v1v2 mean?
This feature allows you to view offline the locations of various functions on different types of instruments. By selecting a specific model from a particular brand, you will see the device description file for that model, commonly known as a DD file. There are different versions of such files; in your case, there are only two, while in some cases there can be as many as a dozen. When 475 is online, it selects the most appropriate file based on the instrument’s own software version
v1v2 refer to different versions, similar to iOS 10.1 and 10.2 on smartphones. Instruments from different eras correspond to different human versions. General version upgrades are usually for fixing bugs and improving stability. But what you see is not v1v2, but dev1, dev2. This is the version of the device; it’s similar to major upgrades like iOS 9 or iOS 10. Generally, the corresponding device also changes (though you may not necessarily be able to tell). Relatively speaking, if you need to simulate to understand the menu structure, then simply choose the top one. P.S. It seems like your 475 is about to get an upgrade.
