While reading a book today, I came across a sentence that said: “Balance vessels are needed to measure steam pressure, differential pressure, flow rate, etc.” I have a gentle question: does this mean that a balance vessel must be installed in front of every instrument used to measure steam parameters? Furthermore, I see that the instruments have requirements regarding the operating environment (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.).
