What is the difference between the ITCC control system and the CCS control system? They are all compressor unit control systems; what do they specifically mean respectively? The ITCC is an integrated turbine compressor system; the CCS is a compressor control system. For power generation, there is a coordinate control system that enables coordination between the turbine and the boiler to control power, with the first letter of each component being used to denote it
CCS refers to control regulation, which involves coordinating the operating conditions of the turbine and boiler through control loops. It also sends commands to the boiler’s automatic control system and the turbine’s automatic control system in order to respond quickly to changes in load, thereby maximizing the unit’s capacity for frequency and load regulation and maintaining stable operating parameters.
CCS terms have three sources, but there is no significant difference in essence. In a narrow sense, CCS refers only to the load coordination control system; in a broader sense, all continuous control systems on a unit plant fall under the category of CCS. The ITCC is an integrated control system for the turbine unit, providing centralized and unified monitoring and control functions such as turbine speed regulation for the compressor unit, overspeed protection, anti-surge control, load distribution control, performance control, monitoring of shaft displacement/vibration/axial temperature, as well as monitoring of the operating parameters of the main and auxiliary equipment. It also handles the logical control for the unit’s self-protection interlocks. CCS is also known as integrated unit monitoring and control; therefore, it is essentially the same as ITCC, with perhaps some differences in focus.
