As the title suggests, are there any explosion-proof pressure transmitters available on the market that can rotate 180 degrees from side to side, and also 45 degrees up and down? This is because such devices need to be equipped with solar panels, and considering the user’s viewing angle, it’s necessary for them to be able to rotate both up and down as well as from side to side. I’ve searched for a long time but haven’t found any products of this kind available on the market. The intention is as shown in the figure below; this diagram is certainly not structurally sound – it is merely illustrative.
As far as I know, it hasn’t been seen in that range. But can’t the solar panels be placed further away? The pressure tap can also be led away to avoid this location; it seems that having rotation caused by this would be an unprofitable trade-off.
This battery can only be placed in the yellow-colored part of the casing. I originally wanted to use a damping pivot to enable rotation; rotating it left and right worked fine, but there were always problems with rotating it up and down, which is why I came to ask for advice
Meters with wireless transmission? Powered by solar panels? Wasn’t there already not enough electricity to power rotation as well?
It is a gauge that uses wireless transmission; it is driven either by electricity or manually. Initially, a structure with a damping shaft was considered.
Maybe I don’t fully understand this specific structural design, but I still think it would be better to use a separate power supply board as a module for conversion. The moving parts related to the interface in this process, even if implemented, will affect the device’s service life
I also agree with the comment above: making the entire instrument capable of full omnidirectional rotation is costly and results in a complex structure. Making the solar panels rotate independently is not only convenient but also reduces costs. I think the original poster’s idea is a bit redundant.
If considering a structure with omnidirectional rotation, the design concepts of those all-angle surveillance cameras on roads can be used as a reference!
