E-GAS furnace size

Recently, I came across a paper published by colleagues from the Fifth Ring Research Institute, which provides an introduction to the E-GAS gasification technology. It states that the diameter of the horizontal section at the lower part of the E-GAS gasifier is 4 meters, with a length of 38.4 meters. The upper two sections are vertical, with a diameter of 2.9 meters and a height of 40 meters. I wonder if there are any colleagues who are familiar with E-GAS gasification? Is this type of gasification furnace really that large? Are there problems with the data in the paper?
Really, I’ve been in contact with E-GAS; the gasification system used by CNOOC in China was probably designed by Five Rings
This is absolutely enormous; the total weight of a single furnace is 840 tons. So, the price of such a furnace must be quite high
It seems like there’s no sediment treatment done, so it’s more or less the same
Slag treatment is also required; in E-GAS technology, there is no slag treatment, but it is taken into account during the design phase
I see, let’s wait and see how it performs after being driven by CNOOC
