What is the temperature of the gas before the primary cooler? I’ve read in books that it’s generally 80–90°C, but what is the actual level achieved in practice by various manufacturers?
Our factory’s is 82 degrees, and it’s usually around that temperature as well. .

A high temperature simply indicates that the effect of ammonia spraying is poor. Where does all that calories come from?
The chief engineer here says the maximum should not exceed 83°C.
Our chief engineer said that it cannot exceed 83°C. I don’t understand how this value of 83 was determined ?
Generally, design institutes design the primary cooler based on a value of 83, leaving some margin. The temperature is difficult to control after initial cooling above 85°C.
Why are the controls different across various factories? Is there a standard?
