The volume of the coal bin is designed based on the time required for maintenance in case of failures in the raw coal crusher; however, it appears that different gasification methods result in different requirements for the coal bin volume, so as to meet the coal consumption needed for continuous full-load operation of the gasifier. Please list the gasification method used in your projects, as well as the capacity of the coal silos and the storage time, along with any problems that arise during use, so that we can draw conclusions from this experience. If the using unit has no specific requirements regarding the volume of the coal bin, it is generally determined based on the amount of coal consumed per shift. The larger the amount of coal used by a device, the shorter the time during which the coal stored in the bin can be utilized; this is because a too large volume of coal would make it difficult to fit everything within the existing framework, and there could be issues with the layout of the equipment. The most common problem encountered during the use of raw coal silos is coal bridging; wear on the inner walls of the silos is not particularly significant. Another issue is the safety protection of the coal stored in the silos when the system is shut down for extended periods of time.
