Dear experts, I’m not very skilled, but I have a question that has been bothering me recently; I hope someone among you can help answer it. The gas temperature before the primary cooler is generally specified to be around 82°C – so what is the lowest temperature it can reach? Won’t a lower temperature reduce the cooling load on the primary cooler? How about keeping it at 75 degrees? Is it harmful from aspects such as ammonia spraying and tar clarification?

The cooling of the gas is first carried out using circulating ammonia water in bridge pipes, gas collection pipes, etc., reducing the temperature from 700–800°C to around 85°C. If the cooling temperature is lower, it will increase the viscosity of the mixture of ammonia water and tar, making it easier for deposits to form within the pipes and cause blockages.
Bei Jiao has experience in reducing the collection temperature before the gas collection pipe
