Author/Source: The 25th meeting of the 12th Ren Conference of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer and Methanol Technology Network approved the \"Environmental Protection Tax Law\". As China’s first separate tax law aimed at promoting ecological civilization, the Environmental Protection Tax Law will come into effect on January 1, 2018. This tax law sets different charging rates for various pollution sources and different provinces accordingly. It is reported that after the introduction of the environmental protection tax, the annual revenue generated from it is expected to reach 50 billion yuan.
