The hydrogen sulfide content in coke oven gas suddenly increased yesterday, rising from 10 mg to 100 mg; the values are similar after connecting the two towers in series
Could it be a problem with the catalyst?
If there is a sudden change, it may be due to fluctuations in certain operating conditions, such as unstable gas or liquid flow rates, which can cause phenomena like flow deviation or flooding within the tower and thus lead to a decrease in efficiency. Has there been any change in the pressure at the tower inlet and outlet? It's just my personal opinion for reference only.
The desulfurization catalyst has been in stable use for a month; there should be no problems
The gas volume increases by 5,000 cubic units, with all other conditions remaining unchanged
Front tower outlet 145; Exit 148 at the rear tower indicates that there is no issue with the desulfurization agent ; The desulfurization liquid should not flow unevenly.

1. Check whether there is a small amount of oil in the system and how well the regeneration is progressing; if regeneration is proceeding normally. 2. Check whether the alkalinity has changed. 3. Check the catalyst concentration – an increase in gas flow may slightly disrupt the balance
If the gas volume increases by 5,000 cubic units, does that mean the corresponding circulation rate needs to be increased as well?
