Small black spots appear in the methanol product

In the methanol product that was taken out, some small black spots appeared at the bottom of the bottle after it was left there for a day; I’m not sure what caused this
Was there no analysis? It’s probably gelatin
It’s difficult to filter, and it’s not easy to collect samples
Was there a problem with the sampling process?
They should all be pure; otherwise, they won’t be water-soluble
Catalyst powder is the most likely option.
