How to address the high chloride ion concentration in the remaining ammonia water

Chloride ions in circulating ammonia water had not been analyzed before. During a recent maintenance task on the ammonia evaporation tower, it was found that the tray material (304 grade) was severely corroded; this was attributed to high levels of chloride ions. Analysis showed that the chloride ion concentration in the remaining ammonia water was as high as 1600 mg/m3. The cause might be leaks in the primary cooler some time ago. Are there any specified limits for chloride ions in remaining ammonia water? Are there any effective solutions to reduce these levels as quickly as possible? Please share your experiences – what are the chloride ion concentrations in your ammonia water?
What water do you use to wash with? Desalinated water?
Wash by water? Are you referring to the primary cooler? We are tube-type
Here too, it’s 1000+; we can only control the chloride ion content in the coal used for combustion.
