Successful First Commissioning of the Second Phase Dimethyl Ether Project at Henan Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. Its dimethyl ether production will exceed 400,000 tons per year. The catalyst used in this process is the WD-1 dimethyl ether catalyst, a patented product from Wuhan Collin Company. This catalyst achieves a methanol conversion rate of over 85% on a single pass, with a dimethyl ether selectivity of greater than 99.9%. It offers advantages such as low energy consumption, high activity at low temperatures, few side reactions, and almost no exhaust emissions. After several days of stable operation, the current system features a low steam-to-alcohol ratio; energy consumption has improved significantly compared to the first-phase plant. The catalyst exhibits good selectivity, and the amount of gas released from the scrubber is low, fully meeting the requirements of the process design.
