Construction of a new 2,500 Nm3/H methanol cracking hydrogen production facility – technical upgrade to increase hydrogen production capacity at Guanggang Gas

Recently, the technical renovation project to increase the hydrogen production capacity at Guanggang Gas has officially entered a new phase of construction. It is reported that at present, the demolition of the existing hydrogen production facilities as part of the technical renovation project to increase Guanggang Gas’ hydrogen production capacity has begun, along with the deployment of pile-driving equipment for the work; this move indicates that the company is accelerating its development in the hydrogen energy sector. It is understood that this project is located in the Nansha Hydrogen Energy Industry Hub, which forms part of Guangzhou’s strategic hydrogen energy industry framework of \"one core, one hub, and three bases\". In the first phase, a methanol cracking hydrogen production facility with a capacity of 2500 Nm3/H will be built, along with filling lines for hydrogen and hydrogen-based mixtures. The products produced will include high-purity hydrogen, bottled ultra-pure hydrogen, and hydrogen-based mixture products. In the future, as the production capacity of this project continues to expand, it will keep contributing to the high-quality development of Guangzhou’s hydrogen energy industry.
