I would like to ask the companies that produce dimethyl ether: how do you deal with high pressure in your storage tanks during summer? Do you keep spraying water on them? The effect isn’t very significant either; small storage tanks are manageable, but large ones aren’t!
1. Is the content of other impurity gases high in your product? (CO2/ethylene/propylene, etc.) 2. The temperature of the extracted product is too high ; 3. Release appropriately
Reply to 2# TieShou21: There are other non-condensable gases, such as methane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and ethylene. However, the amount is very small; almost all of it is contained within the device, and the extraction temperature remains within the designed range, at around 40°C.
Is it being used as a residue tank, containing many gases that do not condense easily? In that case, turn on the spraying system and also open the vent valve to properly release those non-condensable gases
The impurities in dimethyl ether are generally mainly monohydrate and methanol
High temperatures can cause high pressure in the dimethyl ether tank; it is necessary to vent a small amount of gas to the ether recovery tower, where it can be washed away using an alcohol-ether mixture containing methanol.

As long as it is within the allowable pressure range, there is generally no problem. If it’s particularly high, it can be vented.
It’s okay; ball tanks generally don’t have problems – they’re equipped with pressure relief valves and spray water, so there are usually no serious issues
