Is it possible to use a vacuum tank truck, or are there any better alternatives? (It’s not good to directly take things out of the tank and put them into bags; it causes dust to spread everywhere, which is not environmentally friendly.) Also, I have another question: Is the vacuum pump located on top of the catalyst tank effective? Anyone with experience could please share their insights, haha. (Is it better than using steam for vacuuming? In the past, the nozzle of the steam vacuum I used got clogged by the catalyst, which reduced its diameter and thus weakened its suction power.)
First, pressurize the storage tank; the pressure of ordinary industrial air is sufficient. The outlet is connected to a tank truck or a larger container for holding the catalyst. If it is a spent catalyst, a spray can be installed at the outlet to effectively reduce dust and fumes.
Pressurizing the air supply in the storage tank isn’t a big problem; the real issue is with the spraying system. First, you need to install the necessary equipment, and second, spraying water results in mud everywhere
The spraying system is easy to handle; it’s sufficient to use something similar to a shower head on a larger scale. The effect of removing dust with water is quite noticeable, and the position of the spraying nozzles still needs to be designed, but it’s actually quite simple. This is a patent! I still think vacuum tank trucks are better; no dust is produced at all. I’ve just never used it, so I don’t know how it is Is there any other better way?
