On February 24, reporters at the construction site observed that the 330 kV substation for the coal-to-oil project, the 110 kV regional substations, some 35 kV substations for specific equipment, the off-site pressure pumping stations, the water supply and fire fighting pumping stations, the air compression station, and the waste heat recovery station had all been put into trial operation. The power station had started burning coal, and the high-pressure steam pipelines were being purged.
