From March 3 to 5, 2017, the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute organized a review meeting for the \"Basic Engineering Design of the Comprehensive Utilization Project for the Pyrolysis of Lignite in Xilin Gol, Inner Mongolia Jingneng Xilin Coal Chemical Co., Ltd.\" The project was registered with the Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission in 2011, and was listed as a new project for the differentiated utilization of low-grade coal under the **\"13th Five-Year Plan for Demonstration Projects in the Deep Processing of Coal\" issued by the Energy Bureau in February 2017. It is primarily tasked with carrying out industrial-scale demonstrations at a scale of millions of tons using two-stage rotary furnace coal pyrolysis technology, as well as demonstrations of semi-coke water-coal slurry gasification and combinations of low-temperature pyrolysis and indirect liquefaction technologies.
