Author/Source: Date: 2017-06-27 Clicks: 1 At 13:58 on June 25, 2017, the gasification furnace of Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 1.2 million tons per year fine chemicals project was successfully fed with material for the first time, marking the official entry of the project into the trial operation phase. The 120 fine chemicals project in Yitai Hangjin Banner uses 6 large-scale aerospace gasification furnaces with a capacity of 2,000 tons each; the project was contracted out for EPC implementation by Aerospace Changzheng Chemical Engineering, and construction work officially began in May 2014 ; At the end of 2016, the overall project for the gasification unit was completed ; On June 24, 2017, the gasifier was successfully ignited for the first time. On May 31, an on-site meeting was held for the preparation of starting up the production process at Yitai’s 120 fine chemicals project. Zhang Donghai, chairman and president of Yitai Group, emphasized that the success or failure of the 1.2 million tons per year fine chemicals project is directly related to the company’s future development as well as the interests of every employee; it is essential to ensure the fulfillment of the “four musts,” with safety and success being the top priorities. The company does not impose strict requirements regarding the time of product release, but it is necessary to arrange the production schedule and the timing of starting up and reaching full capacity in a scientific manner, to control the pace appropriately and minimize the costs associated with testing. Yitai Group’s 1.2 million-ton fine chemicals project in Inner Mongolia is located in the southern area of the Duguitala Industrial Park in Hangjin Banner, Ordos. It received approval for its environmental impact assessment in August 2011 (Document No. Neihuan Shen (2011) 240). The total estimated investment for the project is around 19.2 billion yuan. The project utilizes the advanced high-temperature slurry-bed Fischer-Tropsch synthesis technology developed by China Science Academy, as well as the Aerospace Changzheng pressurized coal gasification technology, to produce 1# low-aroma solvent, 3# low-aroma solvent, light liquid paraffin, heavy liquid paraffin, cetane number improvers, LPG, sulfur, sulfuric acid, and blended alcohols. On the morning of June 8, the kick-off meeting for the demonstration project of coal indirect liquefaction with an annual capacity of 2 million tons at Inner Mongolia Yitai Coal-to-Oil Co., Ltd. was held in the Dalu Industrial Park in Junji County. The estimated investment for this project is 29.072 billion yuan. It will be built in the southern industrial zone of Dalu Industrial Park, Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, covering a total area of 288.18 hectares. The construction period is 48 months, with completion and commissioning expected by the end of 2020. The main products will be 1.44 million tons of diesel, 400,000 tons of naphtha, 160,000 tons of LPG, and 100,000 tons of LNG per year, while by-products such as mixed alcohols and sulfur will also be produced.
Simple liquefaction. Wish you a safe drive.
How is the oil processing unit? I’ve been working hard these past few days
