It’s best to describe the situation simply. How is a sulfur seal blocked? Is there no more steam? Does the sulfur sealer have a filter?
The temporary shutdown lasted no more than 48 hours; after the acidic gas was removed, the sulfur seal was unobstructed, but once the acidic gas was reintroduced, the sulfur seal became blocked.
The main issue is the poor insulation effect; you can use sulfur blocks to remove steam and condensate from the outlet pipelines. The best preventive measure is to add sediment packs at the front end, and also use nitrogen to remove all the liquid sulfur from within the containment vessel before shutting down the system.
Nitrogen? Shouldn’t adding sulfur before shutting down involve burning fuel gas and air in proportion to raise the temperature of the process gas, thereby cleaning the process gas inside the pipes? By using a nitrogen pipeline, the temperature drops rapidly, falling below the melting point of sulfur; as a result, sulfur solidifies on the pipeline and causes blockages
How is a sulfur-sealed filter installed? Is it placed at the outlet of the flow condenser? Valves should be installed before and after the filter, right? That way it can be taken out for cleaning
