The 50,000-ton/year stable light hydrocarbons deep processing project of Inner Mongolia Yitai Coal-to-Oil Company is a strategic measure aimed at overcoming marketing challenges and achieving operational profitability. On February 4, 2018, the project completed the pneumatic testing of the entire installation, marking the transition from the construction phase to the preparation phase for commissioning. The pipeline purging of the tank farm was completed on February 9. Piping purging of the unit was completed on February 11. The internal inspection of the container equipment was completed on February 14th. The personnel involved in the testing worked overtime during the Spring Festival to actively carry out various pre-testing tasks, including load testing of the pumps. At present, the main tasks of the project are testing, finalization, and submitting applications for the necessary permits. Regarding commissioning, as of March 8, all individual tests of the pumps and machinery, except for the heat transfer oil system, had been completed ; On March 9, the unit began water commissioning, marking the completion of its pre-commissioning phase and the entry into the cold commissioning stage. On March 10, the manufacturer of the heat transfer oil system arrived to supply power to the PLC cabinet, checked the condition of the hardware, and installed the operating program ; The individual test of the blower has been completed. By March 15, the tank area was sealed; after the operations of entering the towers and tanks, nitrogen purging was carried out. The heat transfer oil system is expected to be ready for filling with oil around March 20. Regarding the finalization work, the main tasks at present include plastering the fire dike barriers in the tank area, as well as carrying out construction on the tank area floor, valve chambers, drainage wells and drainage systems, ring roads, insulation measures, and fire alarm systems. The aforementioned work is expected to be completed around March 20, enabling the unit to receive oil. Regarding the preliminary approval procedures, the Municipal Work Safety Supervision Bureau will approve the overall commissioning plan prior to the hot test of the facility, conduct on-site inspections, and only after approval will the hot test be carried out.
