It is understood that this project is a new construction in Ordos City, with an estimated total investment of 259.4138 million yuan; the total planned land area for the project is 104,713 m2. In the first phase of the project, dimethyl ether will be produced at an annual capacity of 250,000 tons, using methanol as the raw material. The main components of the project construction include: process equipment and supporting facilities ； The main process units include: methanol vaporization, methanol dehydration, dimethyl ether distillation and separation, dimethyl ether recovery, and methanol recovery units. Supporting projects: Construct a new dimethyl ether analysis laboratory and a new flare system. The project’s utility facilities are based on the New Energy 200,000 tons/year stable light hydrocarbons project. Inner Mongolia Shengdeyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in December 2017. It is a company founded in Dalat Banner, Ordos City, by Shandong Dezhou Shengdeyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., taking advantage of the methanol raw materials provided by Xinneng Energy Company in order to further expand the coal chemical industry chain. The company plans to build facilities for the production of 250,000 tons of dimethyl ether, 200,000 tons of formaldehyde, and 100,000 tons of polyformaldehyde, with a total investment of 420 million yuan. According to people familiar with the matter, Shengdeyuan Chemical Company operates in the Dezhou area, producing products such as methanol and dimethyl ether; the local dimethyl ether production capacity there amounts to 250,000 tons per year. Due to the ample supply provided by this company, it has an impact on regions in Hebei, areas surrounding Shandong, and parts of Henan. The raw materials are primarily sourced from the northwestern Inner Mongolia region. However, with the large-scale development of the methanol-to-olefins industry in recent years, dimethyl ether production facilities have operated at a loss or on the verge of loss for a long time, which has led companies to shift to selling methanol instead; as a result, dimethyl ether production has decreased significantly. The newly established Shengdeyuan dimethyl ether project is located in the Sanyangliang Industrial Park in Dalaat Banner, Inner Mongolia. The raw materials for this project will be supplied via pipelines operated by Inner Mongolia Newao Energy, which will help to **reduce production costs**. The manufacturer operates a large fleet of 50 vehicles, and its sales area will cover almost the entire northern region, including Inner Mongolia, the areas around Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, and other similar regions. It is reported that the project as a whole is planned to be built in two phases. Among them, the first phase of the project for producing 250,000 tons of dimethyl ether involves an investment of 260 million yuan; construction began in April 2018, with completion and operation scheduled for the end of 2018, aiming to generate annual revenue of 900 million yuan ； The second-phase project, which involves 200,000 tons of formaldehyde and 100,000 tons of polyformaldehyde, will require an investment of 160 million yuan. It will be launched after the completion of the first-phase project, and upon completion it is expected to generate annual revenue of 300 million yuan.
