Which compressors perform better, electrically driven or steam-driven ones? Is the compressed air pressure higher?
Motor-driven and steam-driven are just different types of drive methods; high or low pressure has nothing to do with the drive method. The level of compressed air is related to the compression ratio – the higher the compression ratio, the higher the pressure, and vice versa
Motor-driven operation is relatively simple, while steam-driven operation is more challenging; it is also a common driving method nowadays, with low operating costs, and steam is readily available in most factories
This is related to the device, not to the way it is driven, right?
The choice between electric drive and steam drive should be determined based on the specific conditions of this device. If steam is available, using steam power can save costs.
