Hello everyone. I am now in middle age, and this year I switched to work at a chemical engineering design company. Previously, I was engaged in hands-on chemical production work, so I had a decent understanding of the actual processes in chemical manufacturing sites; however, that knowledge isn’t useful in a design company. The pressure is high, and most of the colleagues are young, making communication difficult. I don’t even know what to do at work. Are there any good chemical industry projects in Jiangsu in the future? What are the prospects? What about salary and benefits – are there high annual salaries that would encourage people to give it another try in their careers?
