You’re not making yourself clear – are you from a design firm or the client? It is provided by the design institute to the owner, who then sends out inquiry requests to multiple manufacturers for quotations in order to conduct a bidding process.
Before procurement, the design institute provides it to the owner, who then sends it to the manufacturers for quotation.
For long-cycle equipment, inquiry documents should typically be sent to the supplier once the foundation design review is completed. For ordinary equipment, the corresponding quotation request is issued after the detailed design review is completed.
Hello, this gentleman. Equipment can be divided into static equipment and dynamic equipment. For static equipment, the design institute or other design agencies provide a template only once, as the processing and manufacturing standards for such equipment are identical. Different requirements regarding equipment specifications, dimensions, materials, etc. are indicated in the equipment engineering drawings. Once the engineering drawings for custom-designed equipment are ready, the client simply needs to add their own requirements to the template in the quotation request (such as delivery time and location). The quotation documents for mechanical equipment must be provided after the equipment specifications are made available, or together with them, as the various parameters of mechanical equipment differ; for example, for pumps, the power, head, and flow rate are not all the same.
