Thermometers are installed on the heat transfer oil pipelines using threaded connections, but the sealing isn’t effective and leaks keep occurring. What sealing materials are generally used? This won’t work with duct tape!
Try using a stainless steel gasket! But the original poster doesn’t know if there’s a jacket inside your thermometer on the street! We usually install heat transfer oil boilers with it, so a situation like yours won’t occur!

Copper gaskets are used; these gaskets should be heated before installation
It leaks even with a sleeve! It’s a problem with the sleeve! It’s recommended to get a new one!
You might consider using heat-resistant rubber pads. Adhesive tape is completely unsuitable – it simply won’t work. It’s best to replace them all; otherwise, it will be very troublesome to replace them once leaks occur after they’re in use
