Do such organizations really have to rely on fines to survive?
It’s quite common to encounter unscrupulous construction companies; if things don’t go well, one has to switch to another construction company temporarily, otherwise the consequences could be even worse!
We are still in the project construction phase; such things happen frequently, and it’s really frustrating. It would be more effective if leaders at a higher level in the company went to discuss this with their superiors.
When selecting a construction team and signing a construction contract, it is necessary to clarify respective responsibilities, requirements regarding work progress, quality standards, etc., as well as establish procedures for identifying and handling abnormalities. If the contractor fails to fulfill its obligations or does not meet the required conditions, and still fails to meet the standards after multiple corrective actions as stipulated in the contract, the client has the right to terminate the contract, select another contractor, and deduct the penalty deposit submitted by the contractor.
When dealing with unscrupulous construction companies, the best way to solve the problem is to be even more unscrupulous than them.
Extend the warranty period and increase the warranty deposit. Renegotiate the contract to clarify responsibilities. If it doesn’t work, change it!
If the funding visa is coordinated in a timely manner and things proceed according to normal procedures, there should be no problems, right? One could consider one’s own issues (such as a lack of organizational or management skills).
When dealing with such a contractor, one needs to be more professional than them, inform them in advance of the issues they need to pay attention to (the channels for information exchange specified in the contract), and have integrity to manage such construction firms. If someone is truly untrustworthy, it’s best to break off relations with them as soon as possible; even minor losses can be accepted, as greater losses may follow. The key is to communicate more with your supervisor and keep him informed about the situation on the ground. Only with your supervisor’s support can things be resolved more easily. But it is such situations that truly test a person; after going through all that chaos and then reflecting on it later, you might even end up being grateful to him, hehe!
1. Is it due to one’s own reasons?; For example, failing to pay progress payments on time, or delaying such payments under the pretext that the contract has not been returned, will both dampen the enthusiasm for carrying out the subcontracted work ; 2. If it is due to one’s own subcontracting issues: explain the situation, such as inadequate management, which has led to increased costs for oneself ; If the contractor refuses to address the issues requested by the owner, the responsibility can be shifted back to the owner, who can then intervene to resolve the problem. If that still doesn’t work, options such as dealing with the quality guarantee deposit or replacing the subcontractor must be considered.
Is the construction company dishonest? This situation doesn’t occur very often; generally, it’s the construction party that is too domineering
