We are located in a coastal area where typhoons occur frequently. Could the eternal flame of the torch be blown out? What dangers could arise if it were to go out?
Is it an overhead torch? The wind is strong, and sometimes it gets blown out; when that happens, it needs to be lit again right away. It’s best to increase the intensity of the perpetual light during storms. If you’re worried about waste, you can install an automatic ignition system for the torch – with just one button press, it can be lit again after going out. The worst thing that can happen if it goes out is environmental pollution, as the area around will be filled with gas fumes; if there are acidic gases involved, the smell will be even worse, and the local residents will complain

Under normal circumstances, it does not go out; nowadays, automatic ignition systems are used, and the torch head is equipped with temperature sensors that trigger alarms in case of issues. If the pilot light goes out due to too low a temperature, the PLC will automatically activate the ignition gun to restart the pilot light
