I would like to ask the friends in the factories: for an absorption tower and a secondary absorption tower, are the sampling points for measuring the absorption rate located at the tower inlet and at the top of the tower (at the outlet of the demister)? Or the absorber inlet, the middle part of the absorber (demister inlet)?

If you are measuring sulfur trioxide at the outlet of the second absorption tower, where do you take the measurements?
After the demister, the acid mist captured by the demister must be included in the absorption rate of the tower; it cannot be counted as sulfur trioxide at the outlet
When the acid production unit is in operation, the fiber beds of the mist eliminators in the first and second absorption towers contain acid, and this acid presence contributes to the absorption of SO3. If the SO3 absorption rate is measured at the defogger outlet, the resulting value will be on the high side.
