I would like to ask everyone: what is the typical reflux ratio at the top of a atmospheric pressure tower during normal operation?
Please determine the process operation parameters based on the quality criteria; the reflux ratio that ensures stable operation of the unit while still meeting those quality criteria is the most appropriate one
The reflux rate needs to be determined based on your processing volume and the properties of the oil
It is generally adjusted according to the manufacturing process: it is better to use less reflux at low temperatures, while the reflux level can be increased at high temperatures. The specific setting should depend on the actual conditions of your process; using more reflux at high temperatures can raise the temperature after processing and help save fuel
When adjusting the tower top, try to use cyclic reflux for control and use cold reflux as little as possible.

If the flow rate of the normal overhead gasoline is greater than that of the normal overhead cold reflux, it will affect the distillation efficiency of the entire column; in such cases, the mid-section reflux should be reduced. If the flow rate of the normal overhead gasoline is smaller than that of the normal overhead cold reflux, then the normal circulation reflux or the mid-section reflux should be increased
