The company’s water separation tower tends to experience temperature drops. Could we discuss any techniques for adjusting the temperature in such cases? Please share any insights you have, and what points need to be taken into consideration? The Linde cryogenic methanol wash used by our company
1. When the temperature is low, make sure the temperature at the top of the tower is not too high; maintaining a lower temperature helps to facilitate an increase in temperature. 2. The water separation tower has a low-low interlock, but no high-high interlock. 3. Pay attention to the opening degree of the level tower when it switches to automatic mode; if it gradually increases, steam should be added along with reflux ; If it gradually gets smaller, turn off the steam backflow. If the temperature at the bottom of the tower fails to increase over an extended period, it may be due to the valves being opened too wide, resulting in excessive heat loss; in such cases, the valves can be adjusted to a smaller opening level to maintain a certain flow rate. Let the temperature rise for a while; once it reaches a certain level, open the valve to release the heat. 4. The liquid level valve of the water washing tower, as well as the amount of brine removed and the output from the water separation tower, can be adjusted accordingly. 5. Pay attention to the steam inlet pressure. An increase in pressure indicates that steam cannot be added, and the liquid level will rise; vice versa.
