Completion of the Naphtha Separation and Refraction Tower for the 500,000-ton/year Coal Tar Hydrogenation Project at Shenmu Fuyou Company / Author/Source: Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. Date: November 12, 2019 Clicks: 95 Recently, the first naphtha separation unit of the second phase of Shenmu Fuyou Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s project – namely the 500,000-ton/year coal tar full-range hydrogenation project to produce naphthenic oils – was successfully installed; its necessary components were attached, and the tower was equipped with lighting. This marks another important installation following the successful setup of the two reactors on October 16. Tower B of the naphtha separation unit weighs 59 tons and is 42 meters tall; at the site, a 400-ton crawler crane is used as the main lifting device, with a 130-ton crawler crane used for assisting with the lifting. Lifting commenced promptly at 9:51 a.m. that day, and after an hour and a half of hard work, the installation was completed successfully in one go, providing a valuable reference and example for the subsequent installation and construction of multiple naphtha separation towers. It is reported that Fuyou Company, Sinopec Company 10, and the supervision unit attached great importance to this lifting operation. Throughout the entire process, from the arrival of the equipment to anti-corrosion and insulation measures and finally to the actual lifting and positioning, they maintained timely communication, close coordination, and meticulous organization. They made concerted efforts to overcome challenges such as high installation precision and a complex lifting environment, ensuring that this lifting operation was completed safely and on schedule. The 500,000 tons per year project for the hydrogenation of the full fraction of coal tar to produce naphthenic oils is developed by Shenmu Fuyou. It uses coal tar as raw material and employs an in-house proprietary technology for the hydrogenation of coal tar’s full fraction to produce high-value-added oils. This project has been included in the industrial demonstration projects listed in the \"Energy Technology Revolution Innovation Action Plan (2016–2030)\") issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration, as well as in the demonstration projects outlined in the National Energy Administration’s \"13th Five-Year Plan for the Deep Processing of Coal Industry.\"
“Naphthenic oil, a high-value-added oil product”? ? ? I don’t understand!
