For Linde’s low-temperature methanol washing process, we are considering using the wastewater that has been cooled at the bottom of the methanol-water separation tower instead of the desalinated water from the exhaust gas washing tower. Do you think this is a good idea? If it’s not suitable, I hope everyone can give some advice – would it be possible to use wastewater from another production process instead? No way! Our company has such a design pipeline, but it is used to connect the water separation tower and the exhaust gas scrubber in order to circulate wash trays before commissioning. The water at the bottom of the water separation tower is sent to coal slurry gasification; it is relatively dirty.
