Several high-pressure pumps have their own oil stations and oil pumps, while other smaller pumps do not make use of oil mist lubrication. May I ask what the reason is? For example, the two pumps below are almost identical; the only differences lie in flow rate and head. However, only P2 uses oil mist lubrication. Personally, I think it’s due to the design by the device manufacturer! If you request oil mist lubrication, it should also be possible to do that

It still depends on whether the user has submitted a request to use it. Most roller bearings with light loads can be lubricated using oil mist. In the situation you gave as an example, the problem does not lie in factors such as flow rate, head, or net positive suction head. If it is equipment to be purchased, this can be proposed by the lead designer; if it is a retrofitting project, then it is necessary to consider whether the bearing housing structure provides enough space for adding oil mist nozzles. If the conditions are met, it can be implemented now as well.
