I. Introduction
The petroleum and chemical industry is one of the key industries in China’s national economy. Pumps, valves, and pipes are among the most commonly used equipment in this industry. Their properties such as corrosion resistance, high-temperature tolerance, resistance to extreme cold, wear resistance, reliable operation, and leak-free performance play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products, ensuring safe production, and handling wastewater and exhaust gases in the chemical industry. The “4th National Exhibition on Chemical Industry Pumps, Valves and Pipes 2017” will be held from April 19–21, 2017, at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center. The purpose of this exhibition is to further improve the standards in the field of fluid handling and environmental protection within the chemical industry, providing a professional platform for chemical enterprises, product suppliers, and engineering service providers to display and trade pumps, valves, pipes, and other fluid machinery. To foster the development of the pump, valve, and pipeline industry, establish a market channel that is \"stable, rapid, and precise\". In April 2016, the third conference was successfully held at the Nanjing National Exhibition Center. The total number of professional attendees exceeded 6,500, including more than 2,100 representatives from chemical enterprises and chemical parks, as well as over 2,900 representatives from environmental protection companies and research institutions. There were more than 150 representatives from chemical parks, accounting for 40% of all chemical parks in the country. It is expected that at the 4th conference in 2017, the exhibition area will exceed 15,000 square meters, and the number of professional visitors will exceed 10,000, of whom over 60% will be representatives from chemical companies and environmental engineering firms.
