After shutting down the pump, it was found that the backup pump had a pressure of 1 kilogram (the normal value is 4 kilograms). Does this indicate leakage at the pump’s inlet and outlet?
Has the pressure relief been removed? Is the pressure gauge accurate?
There was no pressure release after removal, so the pressure gauge should be fine
After cutting off the pump, empty the contents inside the pump, close the valves, and then check whether there is any change in pressure in order to determine whether there is internal leakage in the inlet and outlet valves.
If the contents in the pump are emptied and the valve is closed, but there is still pressure, does this indicate a leak in the inlet or outlet valve?

1. The pressure doesn’t rise after cutting the pump! Large fluctuations in the pressure gauge and low current indicate that the evacuation may not be proper! Or the inflow at the entrance is not sufficient! If the current is normal, it could be an internal leak. An internal leak does not refer to a leak within the valve; rather, it means that there is excessive pressure leakage from the pump’s outlet to its inlet! Insufficient inflow is indicated by the fact that when the valve is closed or slightly opened, pressure builds up after some time; once the valve is opened fully, the pressure drops! Hope this helps!
