The seals of liquefied gas pumps are particularly prone to leakage, and winter is a peak period for this issue. Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there any good way?
A two-stage sealing system is used, with the second stage being equipped with a flushing mechanism or a sedimentation tank (we added the sedimentation tank not long ago).
Seal type? What type of O-ring is used on the mechanical seal?
Use a dry gas seal or a small spring seal
Our company is facing the same issue; we plan to try replacing them with several shielded pumps.

Can dry gas seals be used on pumps?
The dry gas seal we use here has a primary seal that is a small spring seal, while the secondary seal is a dry gas seal; the fluid that leaks from the dry gas seal is directed to the flare. It’s actually an environmentally friendly seal.
