We are currently in need of a mixed-flow pump with a flow rate of 700 m3/h and a head of 10 meters. The medium to be handled is a potassium chloride solution containing crystalline particles; the SSP mixed-flow pump is considered for this purpose. Are there any manufacturers you can recommend?
The mixed-flow pump isn’t the problem; the issue lies with your medium – it’s hot and contains particles, and water cannot flow into it. The pump needs to be insulated. If mechanical seals are used, first, the particles will cause the seals to fail, and second, the flushing fluid can easily mix with the medium It is recommended to use a power-sealed solution that does not require flushing!

The medium already contains water; if a flushing method is used, water can be used as the flushing fluid.
