I would like to ask the experts: can the tail pipe of a water jet pump be angled (for example, at 45 degrees) and connected downward to the liquid storage tank? Must it be connected vertically? Should the tail pipe be inserted below the liquid level? If it is used to draw in gases (such as to remove exhaust fumes or dust), are there any requirements regarding the speed of air intake? If pumping is done on a non-hermetically sealed system, will the pumping volume be affected? Thank you!
45 degrees slant doesn’t look good, right? Installing it in a straight and aligned manner will look more aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore, inserting it below the liquid surface increases resistance, which hinders evacuation.

If it is truly necessary, tilting is acceptable; it will not have a significant impact on vacuuming. But in reality, the installation appearance, water collection, and the surrounding environment are all unfavorable. I do not recommend installing it in this way. The spray pipe must not be inserted below the liquid level, as this will directly cause a decrease in vacuum pressure.

This won’t work; as long as the jet pump is chosen appropriately and there is sufficient water pressure, the inclination of the vertical pipe has a limited impact on the vacuum level.
No, the resistance is too high. It must be vertical. It is not necessary to insert it under the liquid surface. Select the ejector pump based on the air intake volume and the achieved vacuum level.
