The pump model is 3HY-10/4-TB; it is not known what type of pump it is – a multi-stage pump or a positive displacement pump. Help is requested

First of all, positive displacement pumps generally cannot hold pressure; when starting the pump, do you open the outlet valve first or the pump itself first? If a pump is started first, then it definitely isn’t a positive-displacement pump. As the name implies, a multi-stage pump features a row of impellers along a long shaft – is your pump elongated in shape? It’s useless to say all this; just show me a picture and I can tell you what kind of pump it is
