Based on the analysis attempts of a beginner: 1. When the operating conditions are the same, with one pump in use and two as backups, and when a single pump is operating, these pumps can generally be interchanged. 2. If equal outlet parameters are to be maintained, then the inlet resistance for the pumps on either side will be higher than that of the pump in the middle; therefore, it might be necessary for the impellers of the pumps on those sides to be slightly larger

The results of the factory tests show that the curves for each pump are different; therefore, swapping these impellers will cause changes in the pump’s operating parameters. Of course, in most cases these changes can be corrected through adjustments to the system. However, it is recommended not to replace them completely, unless it is absolutely necessary. As for the outer diameter of the impeller, although there may be some variations in pumps produced in bulk, there should not be significant differences in the outer diameter of the impeller; in my opinion, it should remain consistent.

Theoretically, they should all be the same. However, in a setup with one main pump and one backup pump, the flow rate or head capacity of the backup pump may differ slightly; accordingly, the impeller used for it only needs to be compatible with that specific pump.
