A pump with a power rating of 15 kilowatts, a flow rate of 30, a head of 65, and a specific gravity of 1.2. What the manufacturers send back is not exactly what’s needed; they choose models based on their own criteria. For example, the flow rate might be higher than desired, but the head pressure might be lower, or vice versa. What to do in such cases? Because the cable has been installed.

I’m not sure whether your parameters were derived from comparison tables or performance curves; discrepancies in the selection process can occur due to differences between the actual parameters, and it’s possible that the pump does not operate at the performance levels indicated in the sample’s parameter table – a slight deviation is common when selecting pumps. If the deviation is small, the power consumption remains largely unchanged, and the original motor can still be used. It is recommended to use performance curves for further verification, by comparing values such as flow rate, head, efficiency, power, and NPSH at various operating points
I know pumps have performance curves, but I don’t know how to read them. What should I do?
The point you need is basically on your curve; there won’t be much difference. The cables are specified according to their rated specifications, so they will definitely be sufficient
Choose the amount that is calculated, buy it if it’s suitable, and don’t buy it if it’s not.
The impeller size of ordinary pumps is custom-cut based on the head required, and the pump manufacturer is expected to supply them in accordance with the process parameters
