Both wet and dry combustible gas storage tanks are classified as low-pressure tanks, with operating pressures generally below 10 kPa. A wet tank is a bell jar placed upside down in a sink, using a water seal to store air. A dry-type tank consists of an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, which are sealed to each other by a piston (with a rubber diaphragm, light oil, etc.); the inner cylinder can move up and down along with the piston.
