Today is the first day I’ve become the official moderator of the Process Design Discussion Forum. This afternoon I spent time managing this section; just dealing with the posts from the 19th up to 1 o’clock today (excluding those in sub-forums) took a full two and a half hours – it really gave me a headache! The bonus is around 4 points per time, and it never exceeds 10 points; in the end, after adding everything up, I got 200 points and 5 charm points – wow! Have too many been added? I came across a post filled with irrelevant replies. Now I know how to delete the original topic post, but I don’t know how to delete the replies; all I can do is deduct points as a solution. I would appreciate some advice from those with more experience; it seems that the efficiency is too low.
Among the team of moderators, simply speaking, lengyue26 has left. But the number of excellent moderators hasn’t decreased; on the contrary, this team is growing, as members like 147258 are joining. Support 147258, support Haichuan
The original poster, take a look at this post; it might be helpful. http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-150979-1-2.html
Replying to the original poster: regarding restrictions on spamming, its removal, and point deductions, it is still necessary to be lenient. Some replies are indeed troublesome; it’s hard to determine whether they constitute spam. Even if they do, efforts should still be made to maintain such accounts by giving warnings and guiding them to correct their behavior. Revitalization is the goal; management exists merely to serve that purpose. I appreciate the enthusiasm of the poster – another great administrator!
I agree with the suggestions of the Xinxin Zen engineers: for some posts that violate the rules, aside from those that repeat the offense, it’s generally not necessary to deduct too many points; simply removing such posts is sufficient. For those who continue to ignore warnings despite repeated alerts, stricter penalties should be applied, and public warning posts can also be posted.
Thank you, Watcher; now I understand. Reply to Blue Dot: I’ve already read your post. To be honest, I only found the management options by using the icon from Watcher. Replying to Xinchan: Thank you for your advice. I also progressed level by level, and I understand the difficulties faced by those in lower levels; it’s very generous of you to give them extra points. However, when it comes to spamming, points must be deducted. Education is more important than punishment, as long as it’s not excessive, that’s fine.
