The two presentations (WRF files) and one example (Aspen file) were all found on Aspen’s technical support website. It’s not very detailed, but it should be useful for beginners. To view the presentation files, a free software called WebEX Player is required – WebEX is a software used for web conferences. AspenTech’s online seminar series are recorded in WebEx Recording Format (.wrf) files. You can download these .wrf files to your computer and watch them later. Click the download link above and select “Save this file to disk.” You must use WebEx Player to play these recordings. If you don’t have WebEx Player installed on your computer, follow the instructions to download the latest version of this free software. This post was last edited by IGCC.SYSTEM on 2008-4-2 at 03:59
I only have Aspen 11.1 available; could the original poster help convert this IGCC simulation example into a format that Aspen 11.1 can open? Thank you.
I only have the 2006 version. Aspen is backward compatible; if it’s 11. 1 Cannot open the bkp file. You can try the method from another post: http://bbs.hcbbs.com/viewthread.php?tid=84839
Is the seminar from the first source only available as a recording? Please confirm, thanks
It’s not that it can’t be opened; the BKP file can be opened, but many errors appear after opening it. For example, the PFDs overlap with each other, and there are also issues with various parameters in many blocks, which prevents the entire simulation from running.
No, it shouldn’t be; I can see it anyway. Did you open it using the Webex Player? I’m poor; I can’t bear to download from here just to confirm. Leave an email address and I’ll send you one, so I can confirm whether it works well or not.
I downloaded it, but I encountered the same problem when opening it. Could you also send me a copy? pwitw@yahoo.com.tw Thank you
After opening it, there are many blocks, and some of the parameters in them aren’t correct
:lol, that’s great, thanks
Very good, I’m looking at it carefully.
