Thread Content

Exchange experiences and solutions regarding the software and hardware maintenance of HONEYWELL PKS systems, 1. Configuration experience sharing; 2. Hardware and software maintenance discussions ; 3. Software and hardware upgrades ; 4. Others: Inspired by colleague WisdomSoft, I’m creating this post now. I ask all students to participate actively and feel free to offer their advice. I’m in trouble right now – I’ve just taken over a C200 PKS system and don’t know how to change the card configuration. I’m hoping someone with experience can give me some advice! For example, what are the steps required to change the PV source on a channel, and is it necessary to stop the controller? :L :L :L

Support – everyone can discuss whether it’s necessary to create a dedicated thread for discussing various issues related to the major DCS manufacturers.

If you want me to have the PKS English CD, it’s over 500 megabytes

Question: The temperature readings displayed by the Honeywell C200/CIOM-A series thermocouple input module TC-IXL061 are all elevated by about 70°C. How should this be addressed? And where can it be repaired? Does anyone have the detailed circuit diagram for TX? Honeywell requires a new replacement: L. You can message me via short message, thanks!

Change the PV source. I’m not sure if you’re referring to changing the input/output points of the card. Under normal operating conditions, deactivate the control module for that point in the lower-level software, then switch channels, and install and activate it again

The English DVD of PKS is not very useful actually. For configuration and maintenance, there are ready-made Knowledge Builder help documents, which are also in English. Currently, Honeywell’s documentation is not very accessible, with few resources available in Chinese. However, the powerful search function built into Knowledge Builder should meet the needs of most people; it just takes a bit of effort to use :)

If all values for a single card increase while those of similar cards remain normal, it is a fault with that particular card. . . . The technical difficulty of handling this is too high (in fact, this card has little contact points, and I’m not skilled enough to deal with it); it’s likely that the onboard capacitors have failed, so it’s better to leave it to the manufacturer. There’s no need to look at the circuit diagram either – it’s not something that can be fixed easily

It was high time to create a standard post like this, designating experts from various manufacturers’ systems to be in charge of teaching and discussion. PS: My skills are limited and I lack experience; I hope that relevant experts will actively participate to help others solve their problems

First of all, thank you! I’m not quite sure what you mean. What I want to do is use the input from slot C and D as the PV, since originally the PV came from slot A and B. I don’t understand what you mean by \"reactivating the control module\" – what is this operation and how does it work?

:Q: Q: Q: Q: Q: Q: Q: Q: It seems necessary to clarify: 1. Are you referring to the PKS C200? 2 Do you mean that PV refers to one IO port, or to an AI card in slot B of card A? I’m not sure how to interpret this term in the C200
